The Local 47 election is next Tuesday, December 8^th.

The General Election for Local 47 will take place next Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2020.

At this point it is too late to mail in your ballot so please plan on going to the Local and voting in person!

As we all know, Musicians are notoriously apathetic, especially when it comes to this Local. To an extent it is understandable. It’s been a very long time since the Local has acted for ALL the members and not just those in “The Club”.

This is no time for apathy. If you ever wanted to have the membership take this Local back from the small cadre of recording musicians, this is the time. If you do not come out and vote in this election, you are surrendering this Local to total RMA control, which means there’s little point in remaining a member. Either protect your Local now, or don’t complain later.
